That's why monopolies and oligopolies are good ideas for business as your consumers now have no choice and have to put up with whatever you offer at whatever price you offer. If your competition is just as bad you have nothing to worry about either.
Your employees are also a resource to be mined for their labor at lowest cost. This follows along the same lines.
