Well, I can understand artists, who think they're worth it, trying to earn a bit of money from their art. It saddens me, because often they stop posting their work to free art sites, and thus get forgotten about over time. Their fan base stops growing
because newcomers to the furry fandom don't get to see their new art. And they will see attrition as older furs change their interests or leave the fandom altogether.
So hurrah for those artists. I can't blame them for selling out, but in the end, we all lose.
